Join us for Fur Love for Vets! We will be donating a portion of our proceeds to Train a Dog Save a Warrior (TADSAW). We will be enjoying a 5k and 10k along the Augusta Canal and the Savannah River.
For the safety of all participants, we request that dogs brought to this event are non-reactive to people, dogs and wildlife. Dogs displaying fearful or aggressive behavior will be asked to leave.
All dogs must be on a fixed leash (no flexi/extended leashes).
What: 5k or 10k
When: 10k starts at 9 a.m. and 5k starts at 9:15 a.m.
Where: Lake Olmstead Trailhead, 1 Milledge Rd., Augusta, GA (This location is dog, stroller, and family friendly. If you bring your dog, please clean up after them.)
Price: $30 through October 1, 2025 then $35 through race day

Packet Pick Up:
Packet pickup will be Friday, November 7, 2025 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Furys Ferry Road, Augusta, Georgia 30907. Packet pickup will also be available the morning of starting at 7:00 a.m. at Lake Olmstead Trailhead.
Additionally, we will be allowing registration at packet pickup.

TADSAW Mission
The TADSAW, INC. mission is to provide for the training of a Medical Alert Service Dog, as designated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990/2010 guidelines, for any wounded Veteran Service Member (Active Duty. Retired, Discharged) surviving with Military Induced Anxiety Depression Syndrome (MIADS), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), in order to restore and improve the Veteran’s Quality of Life with a canine ‘Battle Buddy’, at NO CHARGE to the Veteran or the family.
